This universal ceiling fan remote control kit is compatible with all regular 3-Speed AC ceiling fans and is specifically designed for Hunter, Hampton Bay, Harbor Breeze, Honeywell, Westinghouse, Home Decorators Collection, Litex, Monte Carlo, and other brands. It is ideal for replacing or upgrading your ceiling fan and is compatible with most downrod style fans, although it is not recommended for use with hugger style fans.

The remote control kit includes a durable receiver with a rated power of 240W, allowing access to more light bulbs and greatly increasing the receiver's lifespan. The receiver uses 2 upgraded relays, providing better dimming function than the thyristor.

The remote control features 3-Speed (High/Medium/Low) and OFF options for the ceiling fan, as well as a green button for light control. The green button can be used to turn the lights on and off and adjust the brightness of the fan light (for dimmable lights) by pressing and holding the button. The light dimmer is compatible with some dimmable CFL/LED lights and all incandescent lamps, but it only controls the ON/OFF function for non-dimmable LED/CFL lights.

The installation process is simple, as the receiver wires are labeled with the correct color codes and the matching dip switch for the transmitter and receiver can be easily set by following a specific pattern. It's important to note that this remote does not have a Reverse button, and if your ceiling fan has a PULL CHAINS SWITCH, it must be set to maximum wind speed and the fan light must be turned on before using the remote control. The remote control operates with a 9V battery (NOT INCLUDED).
