How to Use: This remote control is designed for ceiling fans and should match the switches on the transmitter inside the ceiling fan. As long as the fan has the receiver inside, this remote will work with your Hampton Bay ceiling fans. Set the 4 dip switches inside the battery compartment to match the pattern of the old remote. There are 16 different frequencies for the Hampton Bay fans, so you may need to try different combinations. Please note that this remote system is compatible with most ceiling fans, except for those with built-in solid state fans.

Precautions: Please note that there are remotes with the same appearance that have a timer function, and the two transmitters need to correspond to different receivers for the timing and reverse functions to work properly.
